I am a Christian young lady. My goal in life is to give glory to God by enjoying Him forever. He has saved me with His amazing grace and is continually molding me. It is incomprehensible to understand His love for a sinner such as I, and what Jesus Christ has done for me. Being far from perfect and at all times needing to lean on Him, I am continually reminded of my need for Him as my Savior.

I am the youngest in my family, which consists of my father, mother, and sister, Breezy. We live in Indiana, our lovely home state.

The leader of our home is my father. He is a loving, God-fearing man who takes the Biblical role for men seriously by living it out in his life. He is my hero.

My momma is a stay-at-home wife, mother, and homemaker. She teaches Breezy and I here at home, and is training us as we prepare for our futures. You can visit her blog here.

Breezy is my elder sister, and my best friend. We are very similar, and only differ in a few areas. She is the artist of the family and to see that, all you have to do is visit her website.

Bently Scribbles is our four year old miniature rat terrier. He came to us in August 2008 and has been a joy to us ever since. You can read more about him here.

Pickles is our five year old cockatiel. His talents include whistling, waving his “hand”, dancing, and giving kisses. He also says “I love you” and “Hi Pickles.” His favorite food is a good muffin.

Antiques have brought me much enjoyment, even though I’ve only been enthralled by them for a few years. Since then, I have been collecting old books and the everyday items that were usually thrown away.

Vintagegirl. How did I come up with that? The username I was hoping to get at HomeschoolBlogger.com (EmilyRose) had already been taken, so I had to come up with another one. I sat down and started thinking of different names that might work (with my mother and sister’s help), and when we came across vintagegirl, it just seemed to fit.
