Hi! I tried to make these today with my daughter and the dough wouldn’t hold together…I kept adding cinnamon and then applesauce but I couldn’t seem to get it to be the right consistency. Any suggestions? It smells so good! I might have to just leave the crumbles out in a bowl and hope no one eats them!

I made these (along with dried orange slices) for the tree on the front porch this years. Would you believe I still have a few left that I made in the late 1990′s?

However, I love the way yours look so much better. I think it is the addition of the glue that makes them smoother. Will have to try that.

The Cinnamon Ornaments last a good, long while. As long as they are stored in a dry place they can last for several years.

these are so much fun…to “refresh” them…take an emery board or fine sandpaper to the reverse side, and they will continue to offer a wonderful scent for a very long time….
