Lovely earrings! I completely agree that making jewelry is much cheaper than buying it. I have a lot of jewelry-making supplies but I bought a whole set of specialty items to make a specific pair. I calculated the cost of my materials (how many cents per item) and it came out to just seventy-five cents per pair. Per pair! I was delighted to find I was giving someone something handmade and lovely and being quite frugal at the same time.

I love your site! I just posted for a home-made Christmas. It’s a tutorial on how to make a mini duct tape tote. It probably doesn’t fit the same same style as all the other gifts, but it is a fun home-made project that your friends will love. I also crochet doll clothes (though i haven’t made any tutorials). I love your earrings, they’re gorgeous – and they make me wish that I liked wearing dangly earrings! I can’t stand it, I’m so afraid some little kid will come along and pull at them!
I especially love the set with the map on it.
