Two weeks ago we had a lovely visit from friends that live in Tennessee. The S family had visited our church a couple of times over the past few years, but we did not actually meet until the Father & Daughter Retreat ► this past March.

They come to Indiana to visit with family a couple times a year, and this time we were able to have them over for dinner after the morning service.
We all enjoyed a wonderful time of joyful fellowship! It was so good to see Rebekah and her father again, as well as meet her mother and brother, Andrew! What a blessing it is to visit with fellow believers!

I am so thankful that the Lord has crossed our families’ paths! I look forward to spending more time with these dear believers again someday!

Hello Emily Rose!
Sounds like you had a very blessed time with the S family! How exciting to meet again! Glad you had a nice time!
(And that photo in black & white is simply lovely!)
Have a nice day, delighting in the Lord!
Elizabeth
Aw, you’re so sweet, Emily! :) I haven’t posted my pictures on my blog yet, but am planning on doing so soon! :) I like how happy Daddy looks in the last picture-it’s an even better one of him than I got!
It really was such a fun and special time. Thanks for posting this! What memories. :)
Have a wonderful day in the Lord, dear friend!
Rebekah
Visiting with friends from out of town is always so nice. :)
I made a skirt with the same material as your mom’s a few months ago!! I love that material…and the skirt ;)
Just wanted to let you know that for some reason, the first picture isn’t coming through quite right. When I first come to your blog, I can see all of it, but then for some reason your blog’s logo duplicates and the second picture of the logo covers the top of our family’s picture. I don’t know, maybe it’s just my computer that’s acting up! :)
Rebekah, thank you for letting me know! You are using Internet Explorer, correct? There is a bug in the new IE that causes that to happen. To fix it, all you have to do is click the Compatibility View icon (it looks like a piece of paper ripped in half) that is located to the right of the URL. :)
Yes, there is nothing sweeter then spending time with fellow belivers.
Sarah
You were absolutely right-it’s working now that I’ve clicked that icon. Thank you so much! It’s great to have such a dear friend who also has such computer knowledge! :)
I hope you’re having a blessed day!
Oh, I think it’s sooooo neat that Rebekah and her family came to visit yours! The really funny thing is that I met her and her dad at the F&D retreat two years ago through her blog, and now she has met your family. It’s a small world isn’t it?
Have a blessed weekend enjoying the first weekend of Autumn!
Love,
Katie
