Breezy and Emily Rose

Breezy and I, this is our “official” picture for the project.

The *project* is a part of our new home business. Breezy and I are working on a project that the Lord has blessed us with that we pray He will use in the lives of many young ladies!

The whole process has been a wonderful learning opportunity. The resources that we have found most helpful have been New Venture Lab and the Entrepreneurial Bootcamp (and of course our sweet mother who did lots of research as we worked). During the whole process it has been amazing to see God’s hand in all of it — only by God’s grace have we been able to accomplish this!

On Friday we will announce what our project is!

In the meantime you can continue to guess what the *project* might be, as the first person to guess correctly (in a comment on Breezy’s blog or mine) will receive one of the C’s we’ve been working on (the winner can choose which one)! To help you out, we (Breezy and I) will be posting clues over the next couple days.

Start guessing away!

Stay tuned in so you don’t miss out on the surprise!

This is SO unfair!!! Does my guess count towards a free set? Hehe…

    Just kidding!

I can’t wait to find out!!! Mom and I have been wondering and wondering when you shall reveal your secret ;-)

Hmm…methinks it could be a book? Or a line of cards and stationary? Or a professional website where you will sell art, photography and web design services?

    *is very excited*

Ooh Oohhh! A cookbook! I betcha it’s a cookbook. Gorgeous, painted pages, delicious recipes (it calls for cutting in butter AND cards). Yep. That’s my guess and I am stickin’ to it!

  5. Serena on Sep 2, 2009 said:

I was thinking book or stationery, too. However, both of your blogs are so beautiful, perhaps you’ll be designing templates for blogs/websites?

  6. Shannon on Sep 2, 2009 said:

My guess was some sort of calendar or journal with lots of room for jotting notes, ideas for hospitality, scripture and recipes. All coupled with beautiful art and photos.

Regardless, you girls seem to have done a lovely job. Even the teasers has me wanting in on whatever it is!

ack, look at my above grammar. sorry.

I don’t have a “clue” But I am sure it will be amazingly blessed by God and a super “cool” “C” thing. Can’t wait to see your reveal! Your picture together is so lovely. Displaying an awe struck radiance, certainly a reflection of Him. Smiles, Angelia

Heh. I know… but I’ll not squeal. :] I’m so excited for you ladies and your project! Blessings as you finish up. Have some cookies and milk now and then – they build the moral, as well as add brain power.
    Hugs,
    Audri

Are you ladies making greeting cards or stationary? You both are so artistically talented! :)

  13. Heather on Sep 2, 2009 said:

Well I’ve only been reading your blog for a few days but I do have a guess.
Maybe a website of course with your design and Breezy’s art. That encourages young girls to be keepers at home and all God wants them to be. Filled with recipes and craft and sewing and things to keep there hands busy. Maybe a book or audio or both or a magazine. I can’t wait to find out.

  14. Annie on Sep 2, 2009 said:

Well, I think that it is either a Cookbook, or a book of Crafts and Cooking. I have a feeling that I’m going to want it, if it is :)

I can’t wait to see what it is!
    Please post clues soon!
By the way, I love the picture of you two.

What a beautiful picture! You both radiate with elegance and confidence. Absolutely lovely, both of you.

Well, I’m definitely going with Rebecca’s, Heather’s, and Annie’s guesses…. any of those. :) Or the journal-type book that Shannon suggested… Oh, so many possibilities!

I can’t wait to see more clues and find out what it is on Friday!! Only two more days! Oh, wait – are we finding out what the whole thing is, project and home business, on Friday? Or just the *project*? Either way, I can’t wait. :)

    God bless you both!

I think it is a stationary business. Although, with all the pictures, paints and paintbrushes, it ’tis a mystery for sure! :)

    Blessings!

PS: Nomi calls out Please hurry!

I am thinking about a Christian, crafting, and cooking business. The cards looked like name place cards. Or invitations. The post said “You will need one of these.” If it were for recipes, we would need more than one. Hmmmm.
CCC. I am scratching my head on this one girls. But I am very excited to learn what it is!
    Love ya’ll.

    Hello Emily Rose and Breezy!
I’m so very excited to hear what the *project* is!
I thought it was a cookbook, but since someone already guessed that… maybe a set of encouraging CD’S for young ladies? I’m not sure how the baking would come in, but that is just a guess!

Or maybe something to do with the Reformation (photo on Breezy’s blog)?

The photo of you two is lovely! You and Breezy are beautiful young ladies, inside and out!

Have a wonderful day, delighting in the Lord!
    Elizabeth

Whoops, just realized I should probably post this here in order to enter the giveaway.

So, I’m thinking a website about inspiring female historical figures? Or paper dolls (thinking Breezy’s scissors clue…) of them, perhaps? Can’t wait to find out! (:

    Happy Thursday,
    Maddy

All of the guesses so far sound good! I can’t even venture one myself — I’m so excited to find out what it actually is!

The picture of you two is just lovely!

    Ready to burst with excitement,
    (the other) Shannon ;-)

My guess is that it’s a collection of intertwined products that encourage women, of all ages, to be more of what God created us to be. Comforting others, Creating a home, Communing with The Father, Confronting sin, hmmmm… what other clever “C’s” can I imagine??? Well – That’s why I’m not on the Dream Team :-D. Whatever it is, I am Convinced it will be Beautiful, Feminine, a Desirable Challenge, and a Blessing to those who receive it AND to you young ladies that present it. Congratulations on your venture! Everytime, I am encouraged for my daughters when I visit, Breezy’s, Mama’s, and your, Emily Rose’s, blog. All the best, Shannon

  24. Peggy on Sep 3, 2009 said:

Hmm, would it perchance be recipe cards? Illustrated with your lovely art work? Just a thought.. I am sure it will be lovely and a blessing whatever it is!

  25. Miss Eyebright on Sep 3, 2009 said:

That is a beautiful picture, girls! I join the ranks of those who “know”, unfortunately, but it is still extremely fun to see everyone’s guesses and to see the clues that you will be posting. I can’t wait for it all to be revealed!

Have a very bright, very cheerful day!

Well, I am just so excited! Come on Friday! I keep trying to think of the 3C’s and I am coming up with only silly things like Cookies, Crochet and Cards :) At least my husband and I are having a great time making up 3 C’s that make absolutely no sense one of his is Creating Cookies while crocheting or Cooking up Colorful Creations! It’s kinda fun! So thanks at least for the entertainment you have provided, though I am not catching on with your clues :)

    Maybe greeting cards?

  30. Lisa on Sep 3, 2009 said:

I’m guessing that you are making greeting cards – Breezy will paint & you will do the rest. If that’s not what you are doing, it’s something you should consider!

  31. Lisa on Sep 3, 2009 said:

Just noticed the person right before me had guessed the same thing I did so I’ll guess again. Perhaps writing and illustrating a book?

    Paper dolls?

  33. Maralena on Sep 4, 2009 said:

Maybe it’s a Crafting, Cooking, Coloring Journal. You journal while enjoying the Pics of what ya’ll have put together. And recipes of Art, crafting, and cooking. Maybe it comes with invitations for others to come and do with. Like a Titus 2 mentorship. Or just recipe cards. I dunno.
But as you can tell I’m guessing. Love ya!

  34. Mrs. A on Sep 4, 2009 said:

Would it be a set of cards of the women of the reformation? Using both your photography and art skills, I’m sure they will be lovely!

  35. Kelly on Sep 4, 2009 said:

Maybe an art or homemaking course for homeschoolers?

That picture is just beautiful. When I first saw it when we were at your home, I was blown away by how much it reminded me of the Botkin sisters’ photo on the back of The Return of the Daughters DVD cover.

I can see you get some of your photography abilities from your Mom! :)

    Take care,
    Rebekah
