Our Scribbles
June 24, 2009

Bently eating snacks in the somewhat weedy garden.
Our dear little dog, Bently Scribbles, is doing quite well! He has settled down a bit and is even behaving out of doors without a lead!
In the past whenever he escaped outside with no lead, he would run straight for the road and stand on it for a few seconds. After his few seconds of touching the pavement, he would run back into the house without a single glance to the right or to the left. He knew he had done something bad, but I suppose he wanted to enjoy every moment of his mischievousness without any distractions!

Bently taking a rest on the brick.
Now when we let him out without his lead he does splendidly! He usually walks around with us, eats a few weeds, and occasionally goes for a run (but not to the road). And, of course, once he’s back inside he gets a treat for being such a good little boy!
I’m not sure what made him change, but I’m sure glad that he did!
P.S. In case you are wondering where I’ve been: I was working on 4-H and then I caught a cold. I’m trying my best, with the Lord’s help, to get over the cold. If I am well soon, I will be having my wisdom teeth removed on Friday. Prayers would be greatly appreciated! Blessings to you all!

While living the life my Lord has blessed me with, I am at home with my family enjoying being a daughter, homemaker and artist. My highest goal is to give glory to God and enjoy Him forever. It is He that has saved me with His amazing grace and is continually molding me; to Him I owe everything. Read more . . .

You will definitely be in my prayers, having a cold is no fun and I would not be looking forward to getting my wisdom teeth removed. Hope all goes well, when it’s done, it’s done!
Blessings,
Emily
You are in my prayers. I had mine taken out when I was about your age. They knocked me out. It wasn’t that bad.
Your picture of Bentley on the bricks is precious. How did your 4-H stuff go? Can’t wait to hear.
I miss you. :(
Love ya bunches,
Marie :)

Your dog is SO darling!!
You will be in my prayers dear friend
as you battle a cold and go to have
your wisdom teeth pulled!!!
Love in Jesus~ Jen
How cute! I wish our dogs would suddenly change for the better. :(
Oooh. I actually haven’t had my wisdom teeth pulled, because I had four teeth pulled when I was younger. I know it is painful and disabling, though! I’ll pray for you!
Have a very bright, very cheerful day!

I had my wisdom teeth removed two months ago. Through the operation, nothing was felt– only afterwards did I have a little pain. I hope all goes well for you!
Your dog is very cute :)
God Bless

Oh…lovely photos, Emily Rose!

Oh glad the light finally turned on. It is funny when animals finally get it. We have horses and they are fun and funny too. So I am really interested in your 4h project. You’ll have to share. My grandson is too young yet but he always enters in thier towns fair. I am sure he will be in 4h as soon as he is old enough.
Have a Blessed rest of the week.
I hope your dentist appointment goes well!! I’ll pray that it won’t hurt and bleed too much.
Getting teeth pulled is so annoying.
How did your 4-H go?
Bentley is so cute! I wish Buddy would “get it” faster…although he is learning. He’s not pulling me around half as much when I take him for walks, and sitting and laying down on command are coming along too…
4Him,

Aw, he’s precious! Aren’t dogs one of God’s greatest gifts to mankind?
I hope that everything goes well tomorrow when you have your wisdom teeth removed. I’ll keep you in my prayers!
Your friend,
Katie
Your Bently Scribbles looks exactly like our Buster!!! Buster is such a good little boy, it must be something about cute dogs like ours. Get better soon! :-)
Oooh, your photography is SO inspiring and beautiful!!!! Love it!
