{Writing by Mother}
. . . is such a pleasurable way to encourage others. I don’t do it as often as I would like to, but when I get around to doing it I find it thoroughly enjoyable!
I used a dip pen and ink, and wore an apron to protect my skirt from being stained.
Our lovely shade tree made for a perfectly pleasant time!

Lovely photo, Emily Rose!
I enjoy handwritten letters so very much!
Joyfully,
Elizabeth
Very pretty :-)
I should get out my glass dip pens and use them…
Last night was so interesting! I loved the dancing and music :-)
It was great to see you and your family!!

Love this!
I want to write real letters more often…
:)
Your photos are poetic.
I definitely want to start writing letters more often, but it seems that most of my friends prefer e-mail. :( Also, I think a dip pen would be the perfect addition to my wax seal set!
Have you ever done a recipe tree?
Have a very bright, very cheerful day!

Such a beautiful photo! I love the idea of using a dip pen and ink…how lovely!

You and your family take the most beautiful photos!
Yes letter writing is so great isn’t it, I really must make more time for it.
Thanks for stopping by my blog – to answer your question – yes I have always lived in NZ
Letter writing *sigh* Oh, it is such a lovely thing to pass the time with. Katie and I have adapted hand written letters and as of the moment my third finger on my right hand is stained with black ink, and the blankness of a page is no more.
Awwww….. yes there is nothing so grand as
writing a letter…. with paper and ink!

Gorgeous picture! In this day of email and blogs, thank you for the gentle, sweet reminder of handwritten letters. I know what I’m going to do this weekend!
What a lovely photo! You’re blog posts are always so charming! :)
What a lovely post! Your photography is beautiful, as well as your blog:)
Blessings,
Natalie
You are so inspiring! I should go look for our dip pen and ink, I haven’t used them in a long time.

How lovely. *sigh* Handwritten letters are a rare gem; this hobby is fast fading in our time and is, sadly, being replaced by email and texting. I just love to get a letter in the mail!!! :)
I think it would be nice to have a dip pen. Does anyone know where I might find one? Perhaps at thrift shops? Thank you for your help.
Blessings,
~Annie~
That is a wonderful photo. You should post a dip pen tutorial sometime!
Your apron is so cute looing!!!
