Hello, Miss Emily!

Sorry I have not stopped by for a while...we are in the process of finishing up school this month...

Wow! What interesting plants! I don't think I've ever seen one quite like that before. :)

I am getting ready to plant a little vegetable garden along with some flowers and an herb or two. I have never attempted a garden before, but I would love to have our own homegrown, fresh produce available right outside the back door. :)

Hope your day is a bright one!
Lovingly,
~Missie~

Those are cool, I'd never seen them before.
Yes, it really does look like a spiderweb in the center!!! I wonder if that "web" deters bugs that would otherwise eat the leaves.

We have, at the moment, a lot of plants growing in trays and peat-pots for our garden. My window seat is now occupied by several trays of tomato plants, mostly the type to make salsa and tomato sauce out of. We are also growing some herbs, peppers, and I don't remember what else.
The Cilantro has come up and I can't wait :-). I love that plant.
Several days ago I had it on barbeque chicken pizza. I'd never had it that way, but man, it was good!!!

4Him,

Wow, those are really neat! I don't think I have ever seen them before.

We only have water in a cistern, and have to have water brought in to us, so we can't have a lot of plants. I did plant some Tomatos and Cilantro, but the cat sat on the Cilantro and killed it. We also have some flower bulbs planted. and I can't wait for them to bloom!

Have a very bright, very cheerful day!

I still love those little guys! I think they are beautiful in their own special way.

Maybe if I had gotten some 'cobwebbers' Oliver would not have eaten them. Ya never know what he will do. :)

Hi Emily Rose! I just saw some of those the other day at Lowe's but didn't know what they were! Thanks for sharing! =:D They are just an amazing creation from God aren't they!

I haven't ever had a garden before and this is our first year! Yeah! I have planted 4 tomatoes, 3 cabbage, 3 basil, 1 Italian oregano, 1 parsley, 1 lavender, 1 squash, 1 zucchini, 2 red peppers, and some marigolds to keep bugs away (at least, that's what I hear) =:) We also put in a couple of pretty pansies and then another smallish flower that I can't remember the name of. Everything seems to be doing pretty well (except the cabbage which is getting eaten by bugs!). I hope you gardening turns out well! =:D

Blessings!
