This morning I listened to the sound of raindrops falling onto the roof. Each and every one dropped and made a sound as it landed onto the shingles. They all gathered together as they headed down the roof in little streams. On down they fell to the ground, each in a stream with the company of others.

I began to flip through Psalms, hoping to come across one that spoke about rain or water. God led me to Psalm 93:

The Lord reigns, He is clothed with majesty;
The Lord has clothed and girded Himself with strength;
Indeed, the world is firmly established, it will not be moved.

Your throne is established from of old;
You are from everlasting.

The floods have lifted up, O Lord,
The floods have lifted up their voice,
The floods lift up their pounding waves.

More than the sound of many waters,
Than the mighty breakers of the sea,
The Lord on high is mighty.

Your testimonies are fully confirmed;
Holiness befits Your house,
O Lord, forevermore.

We serve a holy, mighty, and majestic Lord. His glory is revealed in His creation (including the little raindrops and the pounding waves)!

Fresh vegetables have such a charm about them! I am not fond of fresh vegetables, but they do look pretty!

These ones in particular were added to a large pot of Chicken Noodle Soup that we made for a couple of families who recently had babies.

The cooking was enjoyable, but the best part was taking the families the meals and getting to hold the little ones (it is not everyday that we have the pleasure to do so)! Children are such wonderful blessings from the Lord!

Thank you to all who commented with name suggestions for our Dear Little Friend, you all have come up with some very lovely names! I will try to make a decision soon, but with so many I’m not sure how long it will be. :)

May God richly bless each and every one of you!
