Fresh vegetables have such a charm about them! I am not fond of fresh vegetables, but they do look pretty!

These ones in particular were added to a large pot of Chicken Noodle Soup that we made for a couple of families who recently had babies.

The cooking was enjoyable, but the best part was taking the families the meals and getting to hold the little ones (it is not everyday that we have the pleasure to do so)! Children are such wonderful blessings from the Lord!

Thank you to all who commented with name suggestions for our Dear Little Friend, you all have come up with some very lovely names! I will try to make a decision soon, but with so many I’m not sure how long it will be. :)

May God richly bless each and every one of you!

Hi Emily Rose! I have been looking through all of your blog archives today, I love it! It’s wonderful to find more like-minded girls in the blogosphere. :-)

I *love* your photography and art. I’m not very good at photography or art, but I love yours. My sister (her name is Emily Rose too, actually. Imagine that!) is very talented and interested in photography. We call on her to take all the pictures for the family. ;-)

I design blogs too, and I’d love to talk to you about your designs and ask you a few questions.

Most of all, I LOVE your crafts. I’ve got to try some of them! Although, I currently have so many projects going it’s hard to keep them straight.

Anyway it’s lovely to “meet” you. I put your button on my blog, and I linked to you from my stay at home daughters site (which is very dusty) – http://www.stayathomedaughters.com.

Sounds like you have been having some scrumptious times with little babies as well. Thanks so much for sharing. :)

    Love in Jesus,

    Hi there!
Thanks for your nice comments and for adding me to your ‘friends’ list!! I know, the bottom photo is my favorite too! LOL, I take tons of photos of the same thing…I’m still trying to get better at deleting the “bad” ones…

Every time that I cook with fresh veggies, I am amazed all over again at just how much more enjoyable it is as opposed to canned/etc.!
