This cheesy chip dip is great for celebrations and movie nights! It is not a super-healthy chip dip, but it sure is a delicious one.

Cut up a big brick of Velveeta cheese into small cubes and put in a crock pot.

Fry a pound of sausage in a pan, and add it to the crock pot of cheese.

Poor salsa (as desired, we use about 2 cups) on top of the meat.

Mix together. Turn crock pot on high, until cheese is completely melted. Switch to keep warm.

Enjoy!

Yum! we have a similar recipe using Velveeta and salsa, but the sausage sounds like it would make it ten times better!!!
That cheese dip makes me think of fresh salsa, my dad made the best recipe in the world for it :). It is one of the most-made summer foods in our house :)!

Oh yummy! I’ll have to make that sometime! Me and my family are total cheese nuts! I think we have made something similar to it, but not with sausage. I bet it would make it ten times better though!

    Many blessings!

Hello Emily Rose~ I make this dip also, but instead using Rotel in place of salsa and I’ve sometimes made it with ground turkey. I love your blog and have been following you and Breezy for quite some time. I also contribute to the GHC. Thank you for all your wonderful postings and photos.
