Every year, two little girls hung their small mailboxes on the Christmas tree.
The mailboxes they hoped would bring daily delights.
Every morning they checked their boxes to see whether the mail had arrived yet, and inside a tasty treat was waiting for them.

What sweet memories! The tree mail is still a tradition at our home and brings little happinesses to each day.

What a wonderful holiday tradition.
What a beautiful little mailbox and what a darling tradition! :)
Blessings,
Miss Jen
Hi, Emily! So nice to hear from you again!
I have been well, and up to a lot lately. ;) Tomorrow we are having company – Michaela’s friend, who we are going to make homemade pasta with, who’s brother will come later on to join in with visiting.
I hope your mom is feeling better, and is well by Christmas! Colds are so icky.
How is your story for The One Year Adventure Novel coming along?
Oh, and is your cousin Maggie still around on here? – I haven’t heard from her in a while. ;)
Thanks to for the congrats! – it was thrilling to see I’d been selecting for that week at the HSB Backyard.
No, I don’t have Adobe Photoshop at the moment. I plan to obtain it soon though, possibly just rent it to try it out. Is it difficult to use for someone who isn’t HTML literate?
Thanks for the locket info. They are so pretty, and vintage is unbeatable. :)
And btw, that little mail box is adorable, and what a nice little tradition. :)
Must run! You have a lovely day!
Anna
Oh, and I forgot to mention that yes, I did make the icon for my Secret Sisters Project. Rather than Photoshop or a similer program, I’m using Picasa 3. :)
Oh! We have ours on our tree, and yet there has been no mail this year so far. We have been forgetting. But I have always loved doing this since I was little…as you no doubt have too.
Thanks for the memory lane post!
Love
