This giveaway was for the green corduroy purse that I made.
This purse is simplistic and a lovely accent to any lady’s wardrobe. The interior is a cotton fabric with light blue, green, and mauve whimsical flowers in straight rows on top of a solid tan background. The handle stays inside these (one on each side at the top). My favorite thing about Christmas is its SIZE. It is not limited to one day, but to an entire season (indeed, we actually celebrate the gift of Christ every day of the year). It is not limited to just my family, but to all of Christ’s family. The abundance of beautiful music, delicious food, precious family, and thoughtful gifts reminds me of God’s enormously abundant goodness towards us.

Your purse is darling and I sent a link to more than three of my friends. My favorite thing about Christmas is attending a Christmas Eve candlelight service which ends at midnight. It’s one of my favorite Christmas memories from my childhood, and one of my favorite things to do with my children. There is something special about leaving church, knowing it’s early Christmas morning, but no one is thinking about gifts or cooking yet. It always makes me excited, yet peaceful – if that makes sense. :-)
My favorite thing about Christmas is having the extra time to be with my family. To bake together, wrap presents together, talk about our favorite Christmas memories, and share our blessing, as a family, with others. Nothing is as special as the time we spend together:-) I’m so happy to be able to give my children these kinds of Christmas memories, and I hope that when they are grown and have their own children, they will do the same.

My favorite thing about Christmas is the small traditions we are starting as a family with my daughter…like teaching a small part of the Christmas story to her throughout the month of December, making cookies, going to our Christmas Eve service at church. It’s so fun to see her discover new things and experience new things especially at Christmas.

What an adorable purse? I love corduroy–why don’t I use it more? Hmmm. I think my favorite thing about Christmas is making things for my nieces and nephews. They’re (mostly) all at the stage where they really appreciate something that was specially made just for them. You can’t really beat that. (And I’ll take it when I can–I know it won’t last forever–the teenage years are coming!)

Usually my favorite thing this year is the music. But this year my favorite thing is watching how much my 2.5 year old twins are having with the idea of santa, christmas trees, and all of the lights! I never knew how incredible it would be to experience all of this through my children’s eyes!
Christmas is the one time of the year where I feel that we get our whole family together and actually have Jesus as the center of our thoughts, conversations and time togehter… We love to celebrate the arrival of Christmas with a Jesse Tree and talk about the linage of Christ.

I love that more people are open to talking about the love that Christ has for us, and that everyone seems a little more mindful of their hearts and words. Love seems to be the main focus for each other. It’s fabulous to share that with family!

I love making Christmas presents! It’s my favorite thing about Xmas b/c it spreads out the holiday cheer–sometimes I begin crafting for Xmas in March! That means I have all year to think of friends and family as I make them lovely handmade gifts. :)

My very favorite thing about Christmas is preparing with my six children… I love to see how making gifts for people they love becomes so much more important to them than getting more stuff. I love to watch my kids learn to make cookies, and knit neckwarmers, and choose songs for a Mix CD, to let the three year old sprinkle the pie crusts with raw sugar and then hear her say that she helped make the pie. There are so many other things, but watching them mature into creative, generous people is my favorite part of the holidays.

My favorite Christmas tradition is breakfast that has been in my husband’s family for all of his 40 years. We’ve been married for 20 years and every year we have breakfast with his whole family. I really like that green purse – I think I could take it to breakfast Christmas morning.

So many things to love about Christmas- making homemade gifts for my family and friends, the smell of cranberry orange bread baking in my oven, the look of excitement and anticipation on my daughter’s face as she wakes me and daddy up on Christmas morning, cuddling on the couch watching holiday movies, getting together with family and friends and just enjoying each other’s company

That purse is stunning. My favorite holiday tradition is our Christmas Eve visit to the beach. We have dinner in a fish house on the pier. It’s so quiet and relaxing.
A few of my favorite things would include celebrating my Savior’s birth with my children and wonderful husband. I love challenging gift ideas to make for those I love. I love the Christmas music that fills my home and the sweet scent of fresh baked cookies. I love the festive lights in the neighborhood and the kindness extended from those around you.
I love the bag and I hope to make one but to have one to use as a pattern would be fantastic.

i know it’s kind of boring but honestly, watching my little girl open presents is pretty great. her endless enthusiasm makes me remember what it was like to be a kid.

It’s hard to pick one favorite thing about Christmas, but I’d have to say that I love getting Christmas cards and letters in the mail. It’s always fun to catch up with old friends and see family pictures. :)
Favorite thing – would have to be sitting in our living room with the fireplace on, the tree lit up and chatting with family and friends while enjoing homemade goodies – it’s a wonderful time to just sit and relax and spend time with those we love so dearly.

It may seem odd, but my favorite thing about Christmas is the lights and decorations, particularly outdoors. And the music. And the entire atmosphere.
I’ve only been a Christian a short while, so the true meaning of Christmas is only just beginning to truly sink in; I’m excited for future Christmases, in a Christian home with husband (to be), instead of the rather commercial holiday festivities of my rather non-Christian family.
So, now that I’ve written a book…that sure is a beautiful bag!

How can I pick just one of my favorite things about Christmas… First it would be getting all the family together, I enjoy planning for the holiday my goal for next year is to have my family and my husbands family under one roof for Christmas. I love decorating and I love making gifts for everyone. Every year I try to find something that I can make for everyone ex. last year I made each household a calendar with pics and notes of the whole family. This year I am doing Jar gifts like soup, hot cocoa and cookies.

My favorite thing about Christmas is doing our advent calendar throughout the month of December. When I was little my mom made a felt advent calendar w/a Christmas Tree on the front. Every day my brother and I would take turns pulling a little felt ornament out of the numbered pouches, and then putting it on the tree. My mom would always include a little note in there too, that would say something like “tonight you get to choose the Christmas story” or “tonight we get a movie night!”. It really made the spirit of Christmas last throughout the entire month. I’ve carried on this tradition with my young children and they love it.

My favorite thing about Christmas is making all my holiday cards & usually presents! I am in a mad dash this season though since my hubby is deployed and I can only work on them when our 16month old son goes to bed at night. I am hoping I can continue to not buy presents!

Wow, gorgeous bag! My favorite thing about Christmas is driving around at night to look at the houses all lit up with decorations. There’s a neighborhood here in Savannah that goes ALL OUT and people gather there for the lights gawking while one really nice couple passes out hot chocolate.

My favorite thing about Christmas is waking up with loved ones in the morning, gathering in the living room with the pets (can’t forget them!) and slowly waking up together to enjoy the wonders below the tree.
I love the freezing cold so I can sit inside under a blanket and drink homemade cocoa. I also love seeing my family, it’s great.

My favorite thing about christmas is watching my children’s faces as we open presents. We keep it simple around here so they only get 3 or 4 presents each and we take turns so we can each see what they got, no crazy rip ‘em all open at the same time and it’s all over in 2 minutes.
