		<description>Greetings,
this is such a wonderful idea! I make homemade Christmas gifts almost every year.
I was thinking about posting some, but I wouldn&#039;t want the person who is getting the gift this Christmas to look at my blog...hmmm... have to think on that.

Your calandar is so cute! Lovely job.

Sincerely,
  Brielle</description>

<description>What a wonderful idea...I just read your profile and you sound like such a sweet young lady!
Our large church is also adopting this &quot;home made&quot; approach with making gifts this year, enjoying more old-fashioned, family traditions and giving a some of what we might have spent to a special mission group that gives clean drinking water- along with the gospel- to those countries in need!
I am not overly talented with crafts, but I really hope to try to make a few things this year, so I will be checking in to get ideas!

Also, if you are interested, you are welcome to join in on the Home School Open House that I hope to do monthly, starting this coming Tuesday. (You can find out more on my post)
Blessings!

<description>This is so sweet! I just love it. :) I&#039;m not going to do much this year in the way of homemadeness. I do have a somewhat homemade idea for my sister, but that&#039;s probably it. I made two complete scrapbooks last year, and that about put me (and my kids) over the edge.

I did something else the year before, though, that my family members LOVED. Maybe I could post pictures. I wrote a tribute to each one (my mom, my dad, my sister, and my brother). For my dad I wrote thank you for... (and filled an entire page). For my brother it was more of a memories with him page. Anyway, I decorated each page scrapbook style and framed them. Everyone loved their tribute. :) It was one of my favorite gifts EVER to give.

I have rambled on long enough! :) I have to get some school in here somewhere today among apples, cleaning, dinner, and blog surfing!

<description>Hi Emily Rose! This is great. I was hoping to post my homemade Christmas gifts at my blog anyway and now I can link up and see everyone else&#039;s ideas as well. Thanks! I added your banner square on my sidebar. I don&#039;t know if I will be ready THIS Thursday but I hope to get crafting soon. (Most of the supplies are waiting. I have been making Fall crafts now!
Have a great week!
