This apple crisp is easy to make (the recipe is pretty easy to remember too!) and is even better than apple pie!

Apple Crisp
BAKE: 40-45 minutes | COOL: 10 minutes | SERVINGS: 6

1/2 cup oats
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup butter, melted
6 to 8 cups apples (we use our home-frozen apples, thawed, which were packaged with 1/3 cup sugar)
Cover the bottom of an 8×8″ pan (or pie pan) with apples. Mix oats, flour, brown sugar, and butter in bowl. Sprinkle over apples. Bake uncovered at 400°F for 40-45 minutes.
Enjoy!

That looks so yummy! My mouth is watering. I will have to try it out soon! Thanks for sharing!!
Your apple crisp looks a lot better than mine. :) I will have to try yours next time I make some, and I can tell you how it turned out.
Last time I made it, I was making an apple pie, but the crust didn’t work. So I just mixed some brown sugar up with the filling, which I had already made, and baked like apple crisp. I don’t know how much of a difference it made, as I didn’t eat any, because I don’t like it, but everyone said it was fine. :)
Your directions are simple, and your photo beautiful, as always. :)
Love ya girlie, and wish we could bake apple crisp TOGETHER. :P
Love,

So, how do you freeze your apples for this? Just cut them up and add sugar? That easy? I still have more apples, and would love to put some away for apple crisp! :D
I have just one question if you wouldnt mind answering…is your website HTML based, because I am trying to do WordPress but I am very confused. How did you make your website?
