For Maggie’s birthday, we bought her a domain name. She now blogs at www.painterofwords.com. The reason I haven’t blogged for the past few days is that I’ve been designing the theme for her. I find WordPress themes very enjoyable to work with, and that was part of the gift – her own custom template.

It no longer looks much like the original theme I edited to make it. Above is what the site has turned out looking like. I edited it in Dreamweaver. The texture in the background is the back of a photo I scanned, and the photo in the header is one that I took while doing a photo shoot of a few of my old books.

I encourage you to visit her blog and leave her lots of comments.

Hello there Miss Emily Rose –
First thing I have to say is you did a wonderful job on Maggie’s template. I love it! I went over there and am in love with it… old fashioned books, antique-looking, wonderful colours! Loving it!

Anyway, onto replying to your comment! That is cute what you guys (or girls) did for school. That would be fun.

So how have you been? Tried any new recipes? Wanna send me that one chocolate cookie one that you brought for J’s party? :D

    Love,
    Rachel
